Business is Passbox for companies: shared vaults per department or project, groups and roles, policies, an activity log, recovery through admins, and single sign-on and SCIM. You book it right in the app.

All prices plus VAT. Guests, AI agents and service accounts are free and never count as members.
If you run Passbox yourself, everything is free. On your own server there is no billing, and instead of a Business organization you create a team with the same features.
Create the organization and activate Business
- In the web app, open Family & team and choose Start with Business.
- Give the organization a name, for example your company's. The name is encrypted. Only members see it.
- Choose monthly or yearly billing and choose Create organization.
- Choose Activate Business. You continue to our payment provider and come back afterwards. Confirming the payment can take a few minutes.
Until Business is active, you can set up the organization, create vaults and invite guests. Members can join as soon as Business is active.
You are the owner of the organization. Recovery through admins is on from the start, see Admin console.
Manage billing
In the admin console under Billing you see the plan, status, billing period, price and number of members. When the number changes, Passbox shows from which date how many members are billed.
Manage billing opens our payment provider's page. There you change the payment method and billing period, download invoices and cancel.

| Read-only until paid | A payment is overdue. Items can be read but not changed until you pay. |
| Ended | The subscription was canceled and the organization is read-only. Activate Business continues it. |
Invite colleagues
- In the organization, choose Invite, or use Members in the admin console.
- Enter the email address and choose the role.
- Passbox emails the invitation and shows the link to copy.
- The person joins and waits for confirmation. Confirm them under Members. Passbox checks their key and shows their security code.
With SCIM your directory creates people automatically. You still confirm them, because only an admin can give them the organization's keys.

Guests suit freelancers, agencies or clients who need single logins.
Groups
Groups bundle people, such as "Sales" or "Engineering". When you share a vault with a group, all its members have access. New colleagues simply join the group.
- Create groups in the admin console under Groups.
- Only admins who are in the group themselves can change its members.
- When someone leaves a group, Passbox replaces the keys of the group and its vaults.
Shared vaults
Create vaults by department, project or client and share them with people or groups. Each vault has View, Edit or Manage. Those who manage decide who has access. Details are in Sharing.
Colleagues without access can use the link to a vault to Request access.
When someone leaves the company
In the admin console, choose Offboard… for the person. Passbox shows which vaults they could open, helps hand over vaults only they managed, signs them out on all devices and replaces the keys. The steps are in Admin console.
